Intoxication of the mind
A battle between light and hindsight
Bullets fly, arrows pierce the barrier
Without a care for who dies
Two sides in furious warfare for control
When neither side will give in to the dream
That has hurt us all, buried a hole deep
Within our souls
Playing to an idea of cupid's arrow
And water that tastes of wine
Some couldn't even bother try
But who's to blame?
It's a dream too much, too intense, too unreal
And leaves you empty, spinning, dreaming
With nothing left but a quiet screaming
Boiling up inside
Tearing you from what's real
Don't you see the steam engine that's nearing?
You're well on your way...
Now go away love
